Welcome to Beachside Community Church

Pastor Christian Magnell – Update

Greetings Beachside!

As of mid-August I am settled in Ansbach, Germany. It is beautiful here. I will experience a change of seasons that we do not have in Florida.

The deployment has been busy so far. As I write this, we have just assumed the mission from a unit from Ohio. My ministry includes provision of religious support to my Soldiers, spread across four nations. I also supervise other Chaplains and provide support to other units as needed.

The next month will be busy. I will travel to Poland, Turkey and Israel for various mission-related endeavors. I will also attend a Senior Religious Leaders Symposium in Wiesbaden and represent the Army National Guard at this meeting of Army senior religious support leaders.

I’ve been able to tune into a couple of Beachside services online since I’ve left. I am proud of the work you are all doing! I look forward to what God is doing here and among you!

Key Verses – Our Next Series

Sunday, 8/18 10:00 am - Join us this Sunday at Beachside Community Church as Nate continues exploring Psalms.  We will be looking at Psalm 19 and what it says about two very important topics: creation and God's law.  This Psalm is found in the center of the collection of Psalms 15-24.  We will explore the themes that make its placing no mere accident.

Sunrise Service – August 25th @ 7am

Our next Sunrise Worship Service on the Beach is August 25th at 7am

We've had a couple of beautiful sunrise services already this year. We started on the beach for Easter and had 600 people gathered on the beach. Our May, June and July services were beautiful!

This worship service is in addition to our regular worship services at Flagler Palm Coast High School, every Sunday, 10am.

Come worship with us. These non-Easter sunrise services are a lot calmer than the mass of people at Easter, but we still recommend coming a little early to catch the sunrise.

The Sheltering Tree

The Flagler County Family Assistance Center, Inc. a/k/a The Sheltering Tree, resumes operations at a new day and time.  The office will open on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. starting on August 13th.   The office is located at 205 N. Pine Street, Bunnell, FL.

Now that it is open again, we will resume collecting donations!   We will continue to share donations with the Hand Up Ministry as needed.

If you’d like to contribute a monetary donation, please make checks out to “The Sheltering Tree”

Again, thank you all for keeping the less fortunate in your prayers, as well as giving tangible donations to help!

Matthew 25:37-40 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?  And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my bothers, you did it to me.”

We welcome everyone from the believer to the seeker to the skeptic. We are a church family which engages the tough questions you might have about the Christian faith. Kids are important to us, so we offer a nursery (0-4 years old) or you can have your children with you in worship. For the older kids we have Kidz Cove, our Sunday School, during worship.  If you have more questions, please email russty@beach.church

Please join us Sunday mornings at 10am at Flagler Palm Coast High School, in the Small Gym. For directions, please go here: directions to Beachside Church.
