Christians are called to follow Jesus, both individually and corporately as congregations. In order to do this it is essential that we learn to hear God together in the context of a community that is authentic and safe. In this seminar, participants will identify and examine the biblical foundations for what it means to hear God. They will then examine the dynamics involved in hearing God together in order to lead a congregation to wisely and faithfully be who God has called them to be and do what He has called them to do.
Throughout the seminar we will highlight three inter-related characteristics that are essential for sustained and effective leadership in the kingdom of God, and help participants become aware of toxic beliefs and practices that hinder our ability to hear God as individuals and as leaders in a congregational context.
